What to Expect at Your First Visit to Main Street Dental
After reserving your new patient appointment with us, you’ll receive a reminder for your convenience prior to your scheduled time. We’ll send you the New Patient forms to be completed prior to your appointment.
If you have dental insurance, we ask that you please provide that information to us at least 72 hours before your appointment so there is enough time to verify your benefits and have everything ready to go when you arrive.
For a general checkup and to get established, you can plan for being at our office for about 60 minutes. Your first appointment is generally longer than your routine 6 month checkups so that we can do a comprehensive exam of all teeth and gums, get a full mouth series of x-rays, and perform an oral cancer screening.
We’ll then spend time discussing your health history, diagnose any treatment that may be recommended based on your exam and x-rays, answer any of your questions or discuss cosmetic procedures you may be interested in, and work with you to come up with a treatment plan.
Using Insurance
We are able to work with all dental insurance PPO plans and help patients file claims to use their available benefits towards services at our office. We are considered an in-network provider for Delta Dental insurance plans.
